There are recipes there, too, if you won’t settle for the cute illustrations (which should really be made ito a book on Lucia!). Lucia day was yesterday, and we didn’t celebrate. We cleaned a bit and had roast duck [...] Despite the messy, un-Christmased house and the stack of student essays waiting to be marked; as I walk across the wooden floor in a pair of wooly fair isle socks my Mum’s friend knitted for me years ago when I was still a kid living at home, with a yellow cup of milky tea in [...] A huge part of it, at least, is ris a l’amande.
