I smiled so much at the baby I got new wrinkles. He, on the other hand, smiled at himself in the mirror today for the first time! He was two months old yesterday, I can’t believe he’s so big already.

I only just now realised that Mette sells baby clothes. I love everything she makes. My boy is still too small for the clothes on her site but that won’t last!

More reading

Breastfeeding has helped my reading in more than one way, actually. Normally I read very quickly, racing through the pages, but now I’m forced to put down the book every five minutes and can only read for forty-five minutes – maximum – at a time. Mostly less. It takes me a lot longer to finish [...]

Cooking by vegetable peeler, and environmental costs

We recieve a box of organic vegetables on our doorstep every fortnight. It’s only Danish produce, which during the winter months tends to revolve around cabbage and root vegetables. Lately we’ve been taking the easy way out of cooking with them – we chop everything up, toss them in a pan and roast them in [...]

The extremely easy kitchen garden

Today as I was taking the baby out for a walk I pushed the pram around the garden to see what it looked like. Spring has been early and there are green shoots popping up everywhere. We were leaving rubber wheel tracks in the lawn and, hello! One of the kitchen garden beds looked suspicious. [...]
